| Do you allow commercial messages ? | A comment mentioning or endorsing a commercial product or service is acceptable in the interests of making members aware of the features and benefits. Announcements by commercial suppliers will also be permitted. However, any persistent attempts to publicise or endore a product or service will be removed unless suitable sponsorship / advertising arrangements are negotiated. |
| What are the commercial options? | Sponsorships of individual forum sections provides the sponsor with the opportunity to give ongoing advice about the relevance and application of a product or service. Paid advertising space is also available, but this is limited to prevent the site from becoming cluttered. |

| Why have separate website AND forum sections? | Of course there is some overlap, but they really have two different purposes - the website is for articles and other "hard" information sourced from industry supliers and professionals, whereas the forums are essentially topic-related questions, answers and suggestions. |
| Can I contribute articles? | Yes, of course. However, please note that for acceptance, standards will apply for relevance of topic, writing style and content. The forum is open to everyone within the limits outlined above. |
| What is the purpose of the member advertising section? | Think of it as a trading place where members may buy and sell gear, knowing the audience is dead right for them. There is no cost for text entries with a couple of ilustrations of reasonable size. It is NOT the place for porn, drug or other non-boating related advertising. Any such messages will be removed and a ban imposed on the member submitting the material |
